On February 12, the Costume Designers Guild Awards held its 28th annual award ceremony at the Ebell of Los Angeles. In keeping with last year's format, the award ceremony was divided into nine categories, separated by genre: Contemporary, Period, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. This year’s list of winners included a diverse range of styles, spanning from Paul Thomas Anderson's dazzling action drama "One Battle After Another," "Frankenstein, opens in new tab," and "Wicked: For Good, opens in new tab." On the television front, Alix Friedberg and Leigh Bell received recognition for their period costumes on episode five of “Palm Royale,” and Kameron Lennox won for contemporary, mid-century outfits on episode nine of “The Studio.”
